TDC Selects Aware's Line Diagnostics Platform to Improve Quality of DSL Network

BEDFORD, Mass., Feb. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Aware, Inc. (Nasdaq: AWRE), a leading provider of DSL Service Assurance software, announces that TDC, the leading provider of communications and entertainment solutions in Denmark, has deployed Aware's Line Diagnostics Platform (LDP) to improve the quality of their DSL-based services and to enhance its customer care and issue-resolution capabilities.

"Aware's Line Diagnostics Platform is a key component of our DSL service assurance process and an important part of our goal to improve customer experience and service quality," said Jess Julin Ibsen, CTO, Head of Networks.  "With LDP we are able to better serve our customers by proactively managing our DSL network by detecting service-affecting issues, and when issues do arise, we can quickly diagnose the problem, set the proper expectations with the end-customer, and avoid costly missteps in the dispatch process."

Aware's award-winning LDP combines all of the essential DSL diagnostics and performance management tools into a single, multi-vendor-compatible platform for use by customer care agents, network planning and operations, and field technicians.  LDP enables broadband service providers to reduce operational expenses by quickly resolving customer issues and to increase revenues through accurate service qualification of high-ARPU services such as IPTV.  LDP's scalable centralized software architecture and flexible interfaces allow it to be easily integrated into the operator's OSS and business processes.

"TDC has a strong commitment to providing its customers with exceptional service," said Rick Moberg, co-chief executive officer. "We are extremely pleased with our collaboration with such an innovative and customer-centric company as TDC, and we are glad to have Aware's LDP as part of TDC's strategy to continuously improve customer loyalty and profitability."
