John S. Stafford, III has extensive experience in financial markets, both public and private, and has served as a board member of Aware since 2011. Mr. Stafford was the founding investor of biotech start-ups Clinical Micro Sensors and Xencor serving on the boards of each through the successful acquisition of Clinical Micro Sensors by Motorola in 2000 and Xencor’s initial public offering in 2013. With a particular interest in technology, Mr. Stafford currently also serves on the boards of ZipWhip, ALTR and Dyla. Mr. Stafford’s substantial ownership interest in Aware parallels his interests with those of AWARE’s shareholders.
